Day 14

Soulders and arms this morning. Got up at 4:38 and it was a struggle. Last night I did nothing. My body was sore for some reason and I could not motivate myself to do anything. The thought of missing two days in a row is what got me up this morning.

Had only a shake for breakfast and I am starving right now. Had 2 muffins and a bannana as a morning snack and then a lollypop and some gum in between that( useless calories that I need to cut out)

My biggest issue now is the carido. Need to do more. Gonna wind up getting too big which is why I am not losing weight right now. Look alot better. Feel alot better but gotta up the cardio to take off some pounds

Been a while

I been working but not blogging. I have 13 workouts in. This past weekend sucked for eating but not too bad. Pizza, pepsi some cheese puffs...gonna workout tonight to mae up the miss from this morning(Monday)

Day 10: Plyometrics

Got up again this morning at 4:30 and got my workout in. Really trying to get my conditioning up so I am working hard. I want to be in better shape by my next tennis tournament in November.

Breakfast this morning was egg whites with baby spinach and feta cheese. Had a bannana and 2 blue berry muffins for breakfast snack. Lunch today is another frozen meal but it has a ton of protein. I did have a protein shot this morning after my workout.

Tomorrow is a day off but I will play tennis and/or skip rope. I am up to 1000 skips last time but would probably only do 500 and some resistance training.

Day 9: Legs and Back

Did legs and back this past Monday morning. I woke up at 4:30 AM and got the workout in. Was taking it kind of easy as to not push too hard after all that tennis this weekend. Ate pretty well during the day. Had oatmeal for breakfast and some bannanas and a frozen dinner for lunch. Had tacos for dinner and two pepsi's :(. Was tired and irritated and ate some Crunch and Munch before bed. Gotta eliminate those little empty calories and fat.

This past Weekend

Busy weekend. Had a tennis match that we won on Thursday night in straight sets. I came home that night and lifted weights( shoulders and arms). Friday was an off day because I had tennis again on Saturday. Saturday morning played 3 sets in the morning in like 95 degree weather and won. Then about an hour later played another 2 sets that we lost in like 110 degree weather.
Was totally done after the morning match. Got so tired that I had nothing left for that 2nd match. Not in great condition to come back like that anymore.

Food recently

Yesterday dinner was bad and due to situation that spiraled out of control, I had pizza for dinner. Luckily for me the pepsi I bought was the wrong kind( PepsiMAX) which tasted awful so I had no soda.

Been eating clean pretty much this week. Had Chinese for dinner wednesday night. Tonight will have taco's but only with shell and pico de gallo. No cheese. Gonna have a beer for sure tonight tho.

Lunch today is a Boston Market frozen turkey meal. Huge number of calories. fat is ok but it has 32 grams of protein which is pretty sweet

Last Night

I had my tennis match last night. Played for probably 2 hours. Won. Came home and had baked chicken and brocolli and a muscle milk. Then I pulled weights for a half hour. Worked on arms and shoulders just to get a lift in but not counting it as a day. This tournament is going through the weekend and I do not want to wear myself out-especially my legs.

Day Off

Scheduled day off. Gotta watch what I eat today. My days off can turn into me gourging on bad stuff. Lunch and breakfast is clean. Gotta see what the wife cooks for dinner.

Should have tennis practice tonight for some cardio and I have a doubles match tomorrow night for more cardio. Day 10 should be Friday which is legs and back!

Day 8 and 9

Cardio last night. Did 1000 skips on the jump rope and then did some resistance training and an Ab Ripper X. Woke up @ 4:30 this morning and did arms and shoulders. Feeling pretty sore right now but not too bad.

Friday day/night

Had to go into work late so I wokred out in the morning. Did the Plyometrics which is an insane cardio workout. Went to work and ate clean but Friday is pizza night. Had pizza( 3 big slices) and alot of pepsi. I am going to try and keep my pepsi/soda consumption to Friday pizza night. I been doing good so far!

Day 6 workout

After dinner tonight, worked out. For dinner I had baked chicken and mixed vegetables. Did shoulders and arms tonight. Tons of push ups and pull ups. Let me tell that creatin works. It makes your muscles recover super fast and you do not feel as sore as you would after pushing yourself pretty hard. I may have lasted longer the first time had I been on the Creatin last year.

Lunch Today

I had my kids alone today so there was no chance for healthy eating. Had Zaxby's. For those of you who are not familiar, Zaxbys is like a chik fila type place in the south. Fried chicken fingers and fries is what I had. No soda but enough fries to clog an atery I am sure.

How much Protein?

I was just looking at a formula on line to see how much protein should I be taking in each day with an active lifestyle. It said take your weight ( 165 ) divided by 2.2 165/2.2 and then multiply that by 1.2 165/2.2 X 2.2 = 90 grams of protein. I am looking at what I took in today for protein and I fall way short.

Instant oatmeal this morning 8.5 grams
Muscle Milk 25 grams
Can of tuna 26 grams
Egg Noodles 7 grams

My lunch had vegetables which had some protein but not alot. So in total lunch and dinner 66.5 grams of protein before dinner and I usually dont have the muscle milk which i bought this morning.

I gotta step it up to be able to lose weight and build muscle. Gotta find out where to get it ( protein) from.

This morning

I was to wake up and work out but I did not. I was way too tired. I am going to get a workout in tonight. I am either going to play tennis tonight or do a p90x workout.

Ate clean today. Oatmeal for breakfast, noodles, tuna, and vegetables for lunch. Mandarin oranges for dessert.

dinner and after dinner workput

Ate clean all day today until dinner which is normal. Wound up @ shanes bbq. Had some pulled pork and ribs which were fine but had mac and cheese and frnch fries. Not good. So came home and tennis practice was cancelled so I skipped rope(500) and then did some arm exercises. Not counting a day but at least feel like I acomplished something today!

Scheduled Day off

Off today. Did not play tennis or jump rope. My legs are pretty blasted from yesterday. I want to play tennis tonight. Hopefully I can find someone to play with.
