Muscle Milk

I bought a muscle milk this morning. It tastes ok but not great. Its stawberry and creme. They cost alot of money in the vending machine at publix but I paid and it gave me two so I was pretty stoked!

Days 52 and 53

Got in a workout last night and this morning. School is out so its easier for me to work out and I have the energy to do so. The goal is to get to 60 days before I go to Puerto Rico and it looks doable. In PR I am only going to have my resistance band and my perfect push up. Going to try and do 200 push ups a day and 400 sit ups. I heard Hershel walker never lifted a weight and got that big from doing only push ups and sit ups. Lets see what happens!

Nothing although the food did not win. Ate pretty well. Did not work out much. lifted alittle before going to the pool. Gonna get back on today

Day Off

Took last night off. Benjamin had his pre-k end of the year assembly last night. Got home and watched Grey's Anatomy and WOW! Very scary. Very disturbing. Had to stay up and watch a couple of happy shows to get that out of my mind.

Its Friday Pizza Day. We'll see about working out.

Day 51

Trying to knock them out ya'll. May be getting easier to do as school is letting out this week. Would still like to get to 60 days before I go. Its bad though. I want to quit. I see myself in the mirror and see the progress and want to quit. Its not too hard I am just apathetic because I have come so far in how I look. Gotta push through!

Weekend wins again

Um lets see. Friday-Sunday nothing. I did go to the pool on Sunday with the kids and felt the need to "fake pump up" and did some crunches and lifted the weights to get a fake look for the pool but not a real workout. I did play about 20 minutes of tennis on Saturday with my brother but not a real sweat inducing thing.

The food was pretty bad too. Friday night went to the movies and saw Iron Man 2 which was awesome. I had nachos and cheese and 2 medium sodas. Then we went out and I had more food at Bahama Breeze. Again, not good. Good food, just bad choices.

Then I compunded it by not working out on saturday besides the tennis. Ate pizza that night and snacked later that evening as well.

Sunday, still no workout. Had chinese for dinner. Just all round, not good food choices.

yesterday was to be the back on it day but some marital discourse took that out too. I woke up this morning, planning on doing something but fell back asleep. I did wake up and bang out some crunches and lifted the dumdbells to get a sweat and then some ab ripper x. Still not enough to count it as a day in P90x world.

Torture

Today is our luncheon for our office aides. They have cheese dip and nachos. That is the only thing tempting. AND ITS IN MY OFFICE!!! Have to be in here with that smell. Not sure how long I can hold out.

Day 48

It was to be a double but just wound up being carido. Today is Friday and its a day off again and pizza night. I am not having pizza tonight, though. I have a date with my wife. Going to Bahama Breeze and then going to finally see Iron Man 2.

Lunch Today

I had salad and chilli for lunch. Not very good and did not like it.

Day Off on Wednesday

I took the day off.... It was awards night at church. Had a cupcake. Had an ice cream bar. Fried pork chops and plantains for dinner. Day off so I dont feel too bad. Tonight I am gonna play some tennis and then come home and lift weights before bed. Gonna count it as a double to get to 49 days.

Yesterday for lunch

The reason I kind of went hard yesterday is that I knew I did not pack enough food to get through the day yesterday and when we got to lunch, I ate and was still crazy hungry. I could have had a salad or something but it was hot wings day and I got them and fries and crushed them all. So two lunches, along with everything else. Had a sensible dinner but was still paying for the fries and all that last night. Not cool!

Day 47

kempo Cardio... some tennis cardio although not alot and then I did back and shoulders just for fun. Im only counting it as a single day and not a double because I did not want to. I did an abbreviated ab ripper x as well.

Today we have church and our close out church party. should be lots of sweetened goodies floating around that I will need to avoid. Technically an off day as well but I may do something depending upon how I feel.

Day 46

Arms and shoulders last night with an ab ripper x. Sort of sore but not sore enough. Really need to kick it up for the next few weeks before we go to Puerto Rico.
Still been tough to focus with all this job stuff floating around.

Last night after I worked out, I hit a huge protein moment. Protein shake, muscle milk, and chicken breasts.

Cardio tonight. Gonna try and really go hard tonight.

Not on the RIF'd List

I was not one of the employees that will be lsoing their job( Thank God!). Its hard to be overhwhelmingly happy about it though because of all the other people that are on the list. But for me, it was good news so far. Now we have to see where God is going to put me.

Job issues

Today I and many others will find out if we have employment in the county this year. Again, be praying for God's will to be done. In church yesterday we talked about faithfulness in the tough times and being without a job would no doubt be tough...BUT do you have the faith to wait and see what God has in store for you? That is my hope and prayer. For counselors, the cuts are not to be as severe as the cuts to teachers( over 500) so be praying for all of those guys.

Will post when I know something!

Day 45 and the weekend

I dont usually work out on Friday nights because its pizza night but the wife was going out with her friends for a girls night out Mother's day thing so I was able to eat relatively healthy with the kids, put them to bed and knock out day 45.

The rest of the weekend.... Mother's day breakfast on Saturday. Ate alot of bacon. Dinner was pizza and I had alot of it along with pepsi. Sunday, started off great with a protein shake and then we came back after church for brunch and more bacon. Alot more! But overall I dont think the weekend won as big as it usually does.

day 44 cardio

Tennis cardio... burning much more calories than anything that I would do with P90x Yesterday. Weekend coming. YIPES! Will be looking for mind distractions. Job issues is to resolves itself on Monday so if you are a person of prayer, pray for me this weekend. I am going to work out tonight. Saturday I am going to try and Sunday will be a planned day off.

Day 42 and 43

Caught another double last night.... cardio with tennis again and then back and shoulders last night. Threw in an ab ripper x for good measure. Feeling pretty good. Church tonight which is usually a day off but I may do something just to keep the heart level up!

New Supplements

I am taking the Mega Man supplements from Vitamin World. Plus with that Ginseng and Fish oil. Still looking to up the protein daily.

The double

Hit the couble yesterday. 45 minute cardio( tennis) and then arms and shoulders last night. Pictures to come in the next post. Going to try and get a double tonight. With yesterday, we are at day 42.

weekend wins!

P90x goes down for 3 days!!! I worked out Thursday. Friday was not to be a off day but it was. Had Chik Fila for dinner. Saturday I had the kids all day. Ate subway for lunch and then chinese for dinner. Not too bad but then came Sunday. Reasonable breakfast but for lunch we went to the Circus Carnival. I had a funnel cake, french fries and then for dinner we had pizza again. ARHHHH!! Back on the horse today. Will do the double and well get to day 42.
